Tennessee Legislative Report
League members receive "Free" the Legislative Report during the state legislative session. The report, compiled weekly by our lobbyist, Stewart Clifton, tracks issues, bills and legislation of common interest among League members. League members may request to receive the report via U.S. mail for $15. To request a mailed version, please mail a $15 check made payable to "League of Women Voters of Tennessee" to the League Office (P.O. Box 158369, Nashville, TN 37215-8369). For non-League members, subscription rates are $15/year for email and $25/year for U.S. mail.
Voting Integrity Study of the Nashville-Davidson County election system was conducted by the LWV Nashville using The League of Women Voters of the United States' publication, Helping America Vote: Safe Guarding the Vote, as the study guide. The study involved direct observation of many aspects of the election process as well as interviews with key election officals. To view the final report please click here
Davidson County Election Commission Report the League of Women Voters of Nashville conducted a Poll Watch Project on Election Day for the November 7, 2006 general election. The primary goal of poll watching is to monitor the conduct of an election to ensure that voters encounter no obstacles to casting their ballot.
